When I craft a new banner and put it in a loom with any dye it doesn't appear with any of the dye patterns. However inserting a banner pattern works flawlessly. I'm beyond confused why it's not working properly

I cannot reproduce this behavior in 1.19 or 22w24a. When placing any banner (regardless of whether or not it has a pattern on it) into a loom, along with a dye, banner pattern options are shown. May I ask whether or not you're using any resource or data packs? Could you also provide some screenshots demonstrating this behavior? Thanks in advanance.
