[MC-253231] Spawn chunks not loading on servers

I left my minecraft server on overnight for my iron farm with no players online and it didnt work. The iron farm is definitely in the 12x12 of spawn chunks

From what I understand, entity processing requires a nearby player, in addition to the chunks being loaded.

MMK21 is correct. if no player is logged in the server unloads all chunks so its like time is paused. the farms only work if there is a player whith the farm s in their render distance to keep the farms loaded. this is not a bug so... Mods pls delete that report

Note that reports don't get deleted. They just get resolved as Invalid. 🙂

I was wrong, the iron farm will work as long as a player is in the overworld and obviously the farm needs to be in the spawn chunks, the report can be resolved as invaild.
