Since the Wild Update 1.19 I don’t seem to be able to change my render distance anymore. It worked fine in 1.18.2 and older versions. This is really bad since I wanted to look further away in 1.19 to find mangrove swamps.

I'm unable to reproduce this issue in 1.19. I'm able to navigate to the "Video Settings" menu in a singleplayer world and adjust my render distance without any problems. Are you attempting to change this setting via debug shortcut keys (F3 + F), because this feature was removed in 22w12a?
As requested above already, could you provide some screenshots or videos of this issue occurring whilst the F3 debug screen is enabled?
What do you mean? If I try to change my render distance it shows the F3 debug screen and swaps my mainhand with my offhand. I don't about video settings.

As Avoma said in a comment above, you are no longer able to change your render distance using an F3 key combination. I recommend using the Render Distance slider in Options > Video Settings instead.
This was a change made in snapshot 22w12a (see the snapshot blog post, section "Changes in 22w12a"), meaning that this ticket describes intended behaviour so will likely be resolved as Working as Intended by a moderator.
Thank you for letting me know about this bug I will report it. I don't want to waste my time clicking through the menu to change my render distance. It is quicker with F3 and F.

Is this on a server or realm? They have forced limits. Otherwise video or screenshots with debug enabled (F3) could be helpful.
