Game crash when you shift right click on item in your hotbar to the chest at the same time as you die

The Bug

A zombie killed me at the same time I shift right click on some block I was trying to put in the chest and the game went saving and it crash 2s after. My game is set to DoImmediateRespawn.

Reproduce

• Do /gamerule doImmediateRespawn true

• Get a chest

• Get a zombie

• Get an item

• Open the chest

• Right when the zombie kills you shift right click the item into the chest

Observed Result

The game crashed

Expected Result

The game wouldn't crash
