Entities using a player as a passenger look strange in Third person PoV

If you use a tool to set an entity to be a passenger of a player, EG using bukkit to do so on a server, if you go into third person POV, the entity is floating a good ways above the character's head, for you. It looks normal for other people, but is floating above the player's head for themselves.

How is this modded? I by no way touched the client which is where the issue is. I'm showcasing a glitch in the CLIENT. NOT THE SERVER. the issue is in the CLIENT rendering

This isn't an issue that applies to a vanilla server.

But its still a glitch with minecraft, the server, even if it is modded, if you put a mob on the players head and get rid of the mods, and go back to vanilla is still in effect, and im sure if it was possible to use commands to put a mob on youre head (which i believe it is) it would still show in vanilla,
