Put in a few dye and a few banner into loom, removed the extra and was left with 1 banner and 1 dye in the loom then the game crashed.
What I expected to happen was...:
banner to dye
What actually happened was...:
game crashed
Steps to Reproduce:
1. place loom
2. put in 1 dye (of any color, I tried purple and white) and 1 banner

This is a bug with Paper servers, per MC-253693.
