Mojang, we need to talk about 1.19.1

Now, Mojang, I'm sure you know the issue here. But if not, I'll explain.

1.19 was a terrible update to begin with. It only bought us 3 new mobs and 1 new biome. The rest of the features were meant to be in 1.17, and got pushed to 1.18, and, you get the point. 1.19.1, however, was on a next level. This update only bought us 2 new features, one was Allay duping (which isn't even that great) and the next was chat reporting and bans.

Now, Bedrock Edition already had the crappy censorship system and I'm not even going to talk about how you can't type "night" on a sign, but Java Edition's servers like Hypixel already has reporting systems (like /report) and banning, so it would be unnecessary to add it to the base game.

In addition, this reporting system opens up another can of worms. Firstly, is a Microsoft employee really going to sit in front of a computer all day moderating chat messages? Because if that was me, I would just quit my job and commit suicide. Also, if your playing on an SMP and you tell your friend who just started playing Minecraft to jump off a cliff for free diamonds as a joke, would that then be counted for "Self harm or Suicide"? Overall, I think that you guys at Mojang are good people and this chat reporting thing has good intentions, but many people may be false banned by hackers.

Our demands:
*Remove Chat Reporting and Bans from Java Edition

*Remove censorship system and banning from Bedrock Edition

What you (the community) can do:
*Don't update your server to 1.19.1 or beyond

*Vote for this post so more people see it

This site is for bug reports only, for feedback on features, go to the feedback site.

These reports don't belong here, nor is their creation appreciated by Mojang, the volunteers, or the users of Mojira. You're just creating clutter!
Please, leave.

See MC-253436 for additional context.

@Dhranios                  Well, it's not my fault that Mojang never listens to the community's suggestions on chat reporting, so ur actually the one creating clutter.

@Dhranios     Also, 1.20 better be good

They've stated on several occasions the feedback was considered. Listening to the feedback != implementing it. Mojang listens all the time.
