On Win10
I bought Minecraft 1.19.2, then I tried to install server as per instructions, but I received error:
java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: net/minecraft/bundler/Main has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 61.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 55.0
I'm on Java JRE j8u341, wich is latest.
How come I got latest Java JRE and Minecraft Java has been compiled with a newest Java ?
How can I Fix the problem ?

Ok, it work. I just don't understand why the Microsoft (Mojang) web site give a link to Java 8 (latest version).
The official documentation is faulty.
Which page had an outdated link? You can probably create a report in the Mojang Web Services project if that's the case.
I forgot to mention, my command line for server as I tried it is:
java -Xmx2048M -Xms2048M -jar minecraft_server.1.19.2.jar
