I was playing on a world with full Netherite Armour Prot 4, Unbreaking 3, thorns 1 on a normal survival world and then I shut down my PC so i could take a short break. When i opened minecraft (Vanilla) again, and clicked "singleplayer", my world did not show. I then checked the "saves" folder and saw my world. I then came to the conclusion that my world has been corruped for the 3rd time. This has happened to me before and i assume it is because of exiting the world "badly" (as in shutting my PC down without saving).
I would suggest you to make a "backup every 1 - 5 mins" option, so every [selected mins] the backup folder will replace again and again. This would definitely save alot of worlds and player data.

Yes, but i made a new world and it also got corrupted. But i did save the world, quit the game and then shut down my pc.

did you shut down your pc before you click on save button? if so it can happen, probably not something that mojang can fix
