Hello,
after launching the launcher and pressing the play button, the launcher starts to launch minecraft java but after a while it crashes and reopens returning exit code 6 error.
I have already tried these possible ways, some followed by the Mojang staff (Persephone M.)
I have already sent log errors, without getting a full response from Mojang.
Uninstalled and installed the software
Manually deleted all minecraft files
Using various different JDKs
Used an alternative launcher
Reinstalled and updated OSX
Activated VoiceOver in Mac to see if something happens (no)
At this point I don't know what to do, and I don't understand where the error could be.
I remain available for anything, I hope you will take my case seriously.

I am experiencing this as well. https://pastebin.com/Va6hUW8r is the crash log for my issue. Things seemed to be working fine a few days ago when playing a modpack, but it's crashing now, and my attempts to get the vanilla game going have been unsuccessful despite reinstalling. Very confused at what could be the issue.
I'm having a similar issue. Something that helps me is disabling fullscreen in options.txt. It's less-than-ideal, but it stops the game from crashing.
I am experiencing the same issue. It happened over night. Yesterday I could launch the game without any issues. Today I tried to start it without an internet connection ("Play Offline"). However, it did not start at all. I tried connecting to the internet but this also failed with this same error. I figured out that the launcher is using its own version of Java because when I completely uninstalled Java from my MacBook the error was still present. I deleted the launcher, installed Java again, and then installed the launcher once more. Still the same issue. Please fix!
OSX: 12.4 Monterey
Chip: Apple M1
Memory: 16GB
Minecraft Launcher Version: macOS 12.4.0 2.14.12
Minecraft Version 1.20.3 and 1.20.4
I can confirm that I have also encountered this issue, with almost all the same remedies attempted. In this instance, it was on a Macbook Air (M1 2020) on macOS Monterey 12.5.1. It was initially encountered on a fresh install of Minecraft on the Mac and with all subsequent reinstallations.
