When opening the Minecraft Client, I expect to see the Crafting Table icon. However, I am seeing the Java icon. In 21w19a, it shows the Java mascot. In 21w18a and below, it shows the coffee cup Java logo.
Steps to duplicate:
1: Open Minecraft Launcher
2: Launch any Minecraft Java Edition version 21w19a and up
3: Icon on Taskbar will not be the Crafting table icon
There's probably some issue with your installation of Minecraft where the assets aren't properly downloaded.
Perhaps you could try deleting the
.minecraft/assetsfolder, that will prompt the launcher to redownload all the assets, including the logo.If that doesn't help, please contact Community Support for assistance and refer to this ticket by providing a link.
