Whenever i use f3 on my laptop the debug menu will not show up and f5 will not go into 3rd person view of my character and any other java edition feature will not work. show chunk borders etc.
all versions do this (i just had to choose a version)

Hello. If I recall correctly, this type of issue only occurs with certain laptop keyboards and in order to fix the problem, you'll need to hold down the Fn key while pressing other given keys. For example, if you want to enable chunk borders, you'll have to press Fn + F3 + G. This is just due to the nature of how certain laptops are manufactured; please let us know if this resolves the problem.
