If you put the portal frames on the west and east sides, and so that they are directed at each other, and put the south and north portal frame so that they look in opposite directions and insert the eyes of the ender so that the last eye is inserted into the frame on the north side , then the portal will be created in the wrong direction.
I was expecting this to happen...:
