The Bug
The Redstone Blocks tab still contain the Bamboo Raft with Chest despite having the same functionality as the Oak Boat with Chest.
Reproduce
Go into creative mode
Open the inventory
Open the Redstone Blocks tab
Observed Results
The raft was still in the tab
Expected Result
The raft would be removed out of the tab like the other boats

Intended? It's essentially just a boat with chest (same entity type, just a variant), has no other behavior to it, and all other "variant" blocks were removed from the tab.
Yay for unnecessary bloat I guess, make sure to add bamboo fence gates back because they use a different texture mapping.
This is the reason for the raft also being in the tab additionally to regular boats:
So the reason is that the rule for variants in the Redstone tab is that variants should only be present if they have any functional difference. For Rafts, it is a very small functional change, but the reason they're still there is the seat position of passengers is higher.
