When a blaze is killed by powder snow, it won't drop anything. Instead, I was expecting that it would drop a blaze rod as when it is killed by a splash bottle of water.

The blaze rods explicitly have a "player killed" condition, death by powdered snow is not a player kill, by splash water bottle is, if thrown by a player.
