/fillbiome command leaves patches of the old biome

/fillbiome command leaves patches of the old biome when selecting large areas. Say for example you select an area of about 20-30k blocks, patches of the old biome remain unchanged. In this example a large areas was selected over an ocean and the /fillbiome command was used to changed it to warm ocean. You'll notice there are several patches of the blue ocean color that remain unchanged as does the biome itself in those areas.

Make sure to include a bit above and below the surface as well:

Changes biome entries for an area. Note that biomes are not stored per-block, so affected positions may not match input precisely.

Biomes are saved roughly per 4x4x4 blocks, and blend on x, z AND y values.

I see. Ok I guess I see what is happening here. I just did the same command, going 2 blocks below the surface and 2 blocks above, and there are no patches. So basically I wasn't taking into account that they blend on the y axis as well. Frustrating its not more precise, but I guess its not really a bug then and can be worked around.
