Logs with damage values have wrong name

Wood logs with damage values 4 to 7 are not displayed in the inventory (or as a dropped item) correctly.

To reproduce use command: /give @p 17 1 4

Intended. If those blocks were edited in, they would look like that.

Damage values 12-15 also correspond to different wood blocks.

The orientation of the sides of the blocks is not displayed the same as a placed block with the same data. Damage value 4 displays an oak wood log but the "bark" texture is rotate as if it is a jungle log. (see attachments)

I don't see where the issue is.

The only issue I'm seeing here is that 5-15 are all named "Oak Wood". (0, 4, 8, 12) are Oak, (1, 5, 9, 13) are Spruce, (2, 6, 10, 14) are Birch, and (3, 7, 11, 15) are Jungle.

The directional blocks aren't meant to be something you ever have in your inventory.

In 14w21b the log:5 is displayed as Acacia Wood in the inventory (wrong), but placed as Oak (correct), dito for log:5 (Dark Oak Wood / Oak).
The hotbar icon and the hand held item is still quite weird for log:5 .. log:15 (all named Oak)

Fixed somewhere between 15w44b and 1.8.1-pre4. Invalid data values now display the missing model.
