When you harvest sweet berries by right clicking them they drop on the ground as if you have mined them. To my knowledge they should go directly into your inventory when harvesting by right clicking simelar to taking items from a flower pot and like on Minecraft Playstation 4 Edition.

@unknown do you have a source? This isn't in parity with PS4 Edition and mojang aims to make parity as far as I know.

Not necessarily - this is phrased as a parity issue, while MC-169496 is not. I've marked the two bug reports as related, though.
