If you want to change a text on a sign like changing color with formatting it wont work after clicking on done it just turns back to normal.

it is not modded it is Vanilla the § if you copy it in it wont show that is normal it is actually copied in the § is just for formatting so it wont show
Resolving as a duplicate of MC-31113 which has been resolved as "Won't Fix".
Formatting with § is no longer supported and will no longer work properly in most parts of the game. Use text components instead.
Inserting § in vanilla is possible but a separate bug, see MC-257181
§ inserting isn't possible in vanilla, not with copy paste, not with a keyboard code, not with a dedicated key. So, this is invalid as the game is modded.
Additionally, its functionality is deprecated.
