What I expected was...:
The piston expands in one direction only.
What actually happened was...:
When I aim at one spot on the block (see picture), the piston crown expands in two directions (see picture).
Steps to reproduce:
I aimed at a specific pixel (right there where the crosshairs is in the picture) while a Redstone torch powered the piston.
