[MC-259934] Blocks disappear when an entity comes in a short window after you place it

I placed a block that I needed for villager trading, a lectern, and when the villager came to that block a very short time after I place it, the block would disappear. I could find the block dropped somewhere around me but this is rather annoying when I am trying to play the game. I searched for issues and found this issue marked as resolved, known as MC-247240. Although this was resolved, it still happens to me, and it would be great if you could fix it in the upcoming 1.20 update. Thank you.
