There are things from my .minecraft folder that keep going missing.

Whenever i try to play minecraft, after i press launch i constantly get an error saying either something from my libraries folder or my assets folder are non-existent. I have had this issue before and the only way i knew how to fix it was by resetting my entire pc. I did that again but after i re-downloaded the game, nothing happened. It prevents me from playing any version of minecraft.
