I have a suggestion, since the armor trims really don't provide any advantage to armor, why do they need to be so expensive? I suggest the following changes along with different materials for the coast trim and the rib trim. And the Netherite upgrade could mirror the changes but instead use a diamond block in the center which reflects its value.
