[MC-263040] Fish randomly disappearing

I have an aquarium that is 2x4x2 in volume. With water and carol on it. Two days ago I added 3 tropical fishes into it. Today, the fishes all disappeared. They didn't left any loot or experience orbs, so I don't think is dead. This happens every time.

I don't know if the picture or painting is doing something.

I am in singleplayer.

The following pictures shows before of the aquarium and after when the fishs are gone.

Note: Yesterday night before i paused the game, the fishes are still there. But this morning when i resumed the game, the fishes are gone.

Did you place the fishes in your aquarium via bucket? Can you also provide a screenshot with your debug screen enabled (F3)

you meant from a bucket? I tried with a bucket once and with a spawn egg once. But it happened both times

sorry, i cannot reproduce this issue. i can confirm that tropical fish from spawn egg does disappear, but for the tropical fish from bucket is doesn't.

I spawned it from the bucket. The picture shows a day after i spawned it with a bucket not egg.

I also cannot reproduce this. The fish I spawned from buckets did not despawn when flying outside the normal despawn range.

If this behavior is still present in the latest version for you, please provide clear steps to reproduce it, and preferably a video showcasing it.
