The undyed shulker is the same as purple wool on maps and the purple shulker is the same as purple terracotta. All the other shulkers show on maps as the same as the other colored objects (wool, concrete, stained glass, etc.). Seem to me the purple shulker should show up as purple wool and maybe the undyed shulker the same purple Terracotta.
