When I use a Buried TreasureMap taken from a Shipwreck, it will become an ordinary Map without a red X mark.

that not only happens in 1.20.1 it has already been happening on arlier versions (i have seen it myself on 1.17-1.19, and have had friends expirience it). i think is haoens because there is no beach biome neary found to locate a treasure, but thats only my guess...
