the bug was discovered purely by accident on version 1.12.2 it is associated with breaking blocks and hitting dynamite

I don't understand the bug you're reporting here.
If you can reproduce this in a vanilla game with no mods and on the latest release/snapshot then please make a new bug report. If you do this, please add a description on how to reproduce this bug.
