[MC-2660] Can't use /op /kick ect. in lan

When I try to do /op or /kick or anything on lan it dosn't work i get /ban cuz it needs a list but
it just says there is no command for that.

This is because there is no 'op' in LAN, only 'cheat mode'. Possibly intended as LAN is not meant for long term use. Set up an actual server if you want to op/kick/ban people from your server.

ok but now i have one question,can you host a normal server and log in on a local networked computer using the local ip without having the server ported or whatever, in other words can you log in a non-public server using the local ip on a local cpu
