Observers powering pistons moving observers powering repeaters causes it to power when there is an air block between (observer on top is not necessary, piston just needs to get a 1-tick pulse)

This is expected behavior, as the piston arm is updating the observer's face, sending power to the repeater before the observer is then pulled away.
