Map data erased on restart

When a map is created and Minecraft is closed, the map will clear when the game is reopened, and becomes an "unknown map". An NBT tag appears to clear; the map starts with 2 tags and drops down to 1. Visual data also clears, becoming a blank sheet of paper.
