[MC-266599] When empty-handed, the villager will still display the items they trade

After the hand-held item is sold to the villagers, the villagers will still display the item in their hands when they are empty.

How long after you trading did you take this screenshot? If it is a couple seconds after buying or holding a villager trading item then it is likely the game being slow to update. They will also do this if the hero of the village effect is active. If possible send a video of you performing the bug to see how long after trading the bug happens and how long it lasts.

From my own test right now, the emerald instantly disappears when the player swaps their held item. This could be MC-196916, MC-150589, or MC-166669.
Additional to adding a video to this issue, could you also add proper steps to reproduce the behavior you've observed?
