I had a train of 8 minecarts full of stuff sent from one point to the other. Three of them disappeared and couldn't be found anywhere. Later I discovered that they have "merged" with the others, causing them to visually disappear unless being sent on high speed, then they could be seen as "two in one".

Can you please provide a video of the issue you are experiencing, alongside reliable steps to reproduce the issue? Currently, the description alone is not enough to understand what is going on.
If the minecarts are directly on top of one-another, it is expected that they would appear to be one minecart as they share the same model and texture.
