Losing player data when backing up a realms server to single player

I was in the process of backing up my realm to move to the single-player menu. The realm backed up, however, when I opened the single-player world, I was spawned inside blocks with no levels or any of the inventory that I had in my realm.

After being killed due to suffocating in blocks, I then spawned at the original world spawn (not where my house is or where I set my spawn point in the realm).

I eventually found my house... All the items I had placed in chests within the realm were in their chests in the single-player backup. However, my inventory is now lost (along with the armour I was wearing in the realm) and everything in my ender chest is gone (the ender chest is now empty... the same issue as lost inventory).

If there is any way to rectify this issue that would be great.
