Vanilla Cape

Saw a cape post on reddit mentioning the Vanilla cape, looked it up to see how players got it and realized that I should've received it. I've had Java since at least August of 2016, and had bedrock before that, with both of those being on the same computer. I've been signed onto both accounts on the same PC since then, including my previous and current pc which I've had since January of 2022m which is well before the date to receive the cape. I never received an email about getting the cape or saw any sort of news about it. I have and use the launcher for both bedrock and Java, too.
