How to Reproduce
Once in a world, open the pause menu.
Press the TAB key until the "Back to Game" button is selected.
Move the cursor over the "Statistics" button.
Notice that two buttons are now highlighted.
What is Expected
When two GUI buttons are highlighted at the same time, it can be confusing to determine which button your current method of input is actually selecting. What I would expect is that when my method of input changes (say I switch from keyboard to mouse control), the button selected by the previous input would be unselected.

This is the same as MC-259387, just another way to reproduce it. (Using TAB to select the first button rather than a key-press)
