it happens frequently but if you relog it fixes itself.
when you turn on hitboxs it thinks that you are still holding f3 so it makes it so all the keys that do things with f3 are unusable. it probably won't happen first time you try to do it.
if it helps i was on hypixel.
update if you hit some keys it freezes the game until you let go of it
however there is a work around you have to hit a key like CTRL to get f3 to work but it does not have to be CTRL which is the one that can mess up the keys shift works too and so far has not done it yet.

i dont have another keyboard but i can describe it
as a example it says in chat "saved screenshot as" what ever it gets labeled as
and no it is not sticky keys
it never happens in single player either

i cant get it to work with screen shots or recording so i will tell how to reproduce it
step 1 join hypixle because i don't know if you can get it to work on other servers
step 2 turn on hitboxs with ctrl f3 b then let go
step 3 hit one of the keys that can do something like taking a screen shot with s
step 4 if it did not freeze, kick you, or start filling your chat it did not work
Please can you test this on a singleplayer world or a self hosted vanilla server?
Hypixel uses modifications meaning any behaviour there is not conclusive proof of a bug within the game
Are you able to try and reproduce this issue on another keyboard to ensure it's not a hardware issue? Could be sticky keys.
