As of version 1.18, chunk border lines, marking out a 2*2 block grid, no longer uniformly display a single color. Previously all were yellow, but now some appear cyan. While this alteration might be deliberate, it was not documented in the changelog. To toggle chunk borders, press F3 and G.

Determining whether this constitutes a bug is a decision best left to Mojang. As noted in the bug report description, the alteration reported wasn't documented in the changelog, suggesting it might have been accidental.
Typically, if a feature behaved as expected in previous versions and any deviation from this norm is unmentioned in the changelogs, it's typically deemed a valid bug. Therefore, it's advisable to reopen this issue for Mojang to assess and make a decision.
I would argue that this issue is invalid, there's no bug. This ticket only points out the difference (not a bad one, arguably even a good one) in a feature between two versions.
