Attempting to open an ominous vault with a normal trial key will grant the “Under Lock and Key” despite not successfully opening the vault.
What I expected was…:
Trying to open the ominous vault with a normal key won’t grant any advancement.
Instead what happened was…:
Trying to open the ominous vault granted the “Under Lock and Key” advancement.
Steps to reproduce:
Find a trial chamber.
Defeat some trial mobs to obtain a trial key.
Use a wind charge to get to the ominous vault.
Attempt to open it with your normal trial key.
❌ You will earn the “Under Lock and Key” advancement.
