In the 1.9 update, the sounds of wooden pressure plates, along with several others, underwent revisions. Notably, the activation and deactivation sounds for wooden pressure plates became higher pitched compared to stone pressure plates. Furthermore, the sounds for weighted pressure plates were even higher pitched than those for wooden pressure plates. However, in version 1.19.3, these sounds have become lower pitched instead of higher pitched in comparison to wooden pressure plates. This alteration was not documented in the changelog and might therefore be unintentional. This bug report includes two comparison videos: one showcasing the sounds from version 1.19.2 and another demonstrating the sounds in snapshot 24w13a.
steps to reproduce
Enable and disable wooden and weighted pressure plates.
Expected: The tones of the weighted pressure plates should remain higher-pitched than wooden pressure plates as they were prior to version 1.19.3,
Observed: The tones are now lower-pitched, indicating incorrect behavior.

Hi BugTracker!
This is completely intentional, as in the files, the pressure plate sound names are as follows:
{{block.wooden_pressure_plate.click_on
block.wooden_pressure_plate.click_off
block.stone_pressure_plate.click_on
block.stone_pressure_plate.click_off
block.metal_pressure_plate.click_on
block.metal_pressure_plate.click_off}}
Metal is the weighted pressure plate name, and they are a completely different sound from wooden pressure plates.
Have a nice day!
I can confirm in 24w14a that the sounds are different, though the sounds for the metal pressure plates are still unique compared to the other types, and their sound is not exactly unexpected, or unusual. The pitch of the pressure plates climbs across all types, ranging from wooden being the highest, metal being second, and stone being the lowest pitch (I point this out, as the attached videos do not include the stone pressure plate sounds):
