So, as the title suggests, I have found a bug which uses pistons, what usually happens is if a block is blocked by another one which is connected
[media]to another piston, which causes it to stop working if activated, even if it has a redstone signal going through it, unless there is a block update around it or another signal pulse that goes to it afterwards, the redstone stops working, the mods that I am using in this are not associated with redstone, so should not affect it, I've seen it happen with other's redstone as well
I've set the video as a youtube link as the file size is too large
How to replicate
get two pistons in a similar setup as the video, can be any form, just as long as the blocks can touch if it has a pulse going through it
set up a situation where they activate at the same time, or at different times, but as long as they both activate
have them activate like in the situation which this is using
you'll see the glitch, the beacon does not turn back to red
this also happens in other ways as well, such as in block swappers by my experience, and can happen multiple different times
