Wolf armor doesn't render slightly darker when wolves are wet

The Bug:

Wolf armor doesn't render slightly darker when wolves are wet.

When wolves are wet, they render slightly darker and this is intentional. However, the wolf armor worn by a wolf is always rendered at the same brightness regardless of whether the wolf is wet or not.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Summon a wolf, tame it, and equip some wolf armor on it.

  2. Make the wolf sit, set the weather to "rain", and watch the wolf's armor closely.

  3. Observe if the wolf's armor renders darker when the wolf is wet.

Observed Behavior:

Wolf armor doesn't render slightly darker when wolves are wet.

Expected Behavior:

Wolf armor would render slightly darker when wolves are wet.

Based on resolution of MC-267367 this should be intentional.

I can confirm this in 1.20.5-pre3.
