I had 3 sniffers in an enclosure, each named using a nametag. Two were from eggs I got from suspicious sand and the third was from an egg resulting from breeding, and the resulting sniffer is the one that disappeared, if relevant. After it hatched I named it and fed it, then went to do other tasks. When I logged back into Minecraft today the third sniffer had disappeared. The other two are still in place, and I tested the enclosure, it couldn't have escaped. Why did this mob disappear?

@BugTracker I'm not sure how to record something not being there, but I'll include an image of the sniffers I suppose. I had put the sniffers in my village, which has a fence over 3 blocks tall, which the sniffer could not have gotten through/over. The only other mobs in that area were villagers and iron golems, neither of which should have attacked the sniffer. The missing sniffer did have a space in its name, if that could be the root of this issue. I made sure to name all three sniffers so that they wouldn't disappear when I travelled. I made several trips around the world and to the nether and neither of the original two sniffers disappeared. However, when I logged back in the next day and went to the village the baby sniffer was gone, despite being named just like the others. Is it just the babies that disappear? Was it because of the space in the name? I just don't know what I did differently. I suppose I will test in a creative world to see if more baby sniffers disappear and get back to you in a bit.

@unknown I just tested the bug in a creative world and logged back in, everything seemed to be fine, I also named the baby sniffer the exact same name you named you're sniffers and I still found the baby sniffer. Sometimes mobs can get lost but I don't really think that's the case since you put the sniffers in a fence over 3 blocks tall.
@BugTracker I also tried to recreate the issue and couldn't. I did look around the world a bit as well, but the sniffer is nowhere to be found. I'm really not sure what could have happened to it, but I suppose I'm glad it's not a recurring issue.
@unknown Yeah it may happen sometimes, but I think its best if this report is closed as cannot reproduce. If this does reoccur please let me know.
Hello! Could you please tell us what the name of the snipper who disappeared was?
Also, please attach all the game logs since you last saw this sniffer. You can find game logs in [minecraft/logs/latest.log and minecraft/logs/<date>.log.gz|https://minecrafthopper.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder/]
. Please put them in a zip file if it's a lot of files.
