[MC-27134] When time is sped up, Steve? wakes up in the middle of the night

After turning off the daylight cycle (/gamerule doDaylightCycle false), I made a rapid comparator clock attached to a command block that added 100 game ticks every pulse (time add 100). When I slept during the quick night cycle, I woke up in the middle of the night. I did this several nights with the same result, even in survival mode.

Would you recommend that Steve get a sleep study or be prescribed some kind of medication?

With a slower clock (4 repeaters) you wake up even earlier.

Not seeing the bug here, in light of MC-17784. "/gamerule doDaylightCycle false" makes it so that beds don't alter the time. You have a command block altering the time, so it continues to pass at 100 times the normal rate while the sleeping animation plays. What do you expect to happen?
