Mace has the same color rarity as the Enchanted Golden Apple as opposed to Common like the other equipment.

This is an intentional change:

Heavy Core, Trident and Mace are now considered of Epic rarity, giving their hover text a purple color

The change log did not mention this at all. Thanks anyway.
