Lava does not flow to a piston removed block.

I have created a drawbridge using sticky pistons.

The pistons are pushing and pulling a block in the Y-Axis.
Place lava source directly next to or nearby the drawbridge.

It should flow properly, however occasionally it will get stuck creating a "Parting Red Sea" Effect with the lava.

This is in a minecraft server 1.6.2, playing in survival mode.

Please attach screenshots.

Shows actuated pistons and then the rift. The non-flowing lava stays that way indefinitely.

Unable to reproduce. Are there holes under the lava by chance?

Yes there are. I have redstone wiring and repeaters on the sides of the pistons underneath.

That is just how lava and water work. It will flow to the nearest hole within reach and then ignore any other directions to flow in.

They were flowing on top of the sunken drawbridge before. Now they are bugged. I've tried breaking the blocks, replacing them, but still the lava will not flow towards those blocks.

It's not just the natural flow of lava. Please reference the screenshots.

THIS IS NOT RESOLVED. Please unmark it as such.

Unable to reproduce, lava flowing just fine here.

I see.. I re-created the same exact thing in creative. No issues. Not sure what's up with the bugged blocks here.
