When making lets say square from walls (i used deepstale walls) and using debug stick set it to up and clicking to change how it looks you can see trough the wall

However, this issue won't be fixed.
Any issues regarding block states being created or changed by using the Debug Stick are not accepted on the bug tracker according to this reddit post from Mojang.
