What I expected to happen was...:
Grass will fade if it is covered with water.
What actually happened was...:
It will stay grass.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to a standard flatworld
2. Put down a bucket with water.
3. Notice how the grass won't turn into dirt.

ah... you're right.
it is fading in the night but as i could remember it wasn't only at night but also at day.
That's the way the old daylight sensors worked: Fade at night, regrow at day.
