Usually, in the creative inventory, you can duplicate a selected item by holding it and dragging it in other open slots when holding the middle click (default pick block button). However, if the pick block button is changed, this feature no longer works. Neither the middle click nor the new keybind for pick block function as a way to duplicate the item in the way you could with the default bind.
