The Bug
When mining a hanging sign what is attached to the wall (ex. minecraft:oak_wall_hanging_sign) the action is not recorded in the "Times Mined" section of the statistics menu.
How To Reproduce
Place a hanging sign on the side of a block.
Mine the block.
Pause and check the "Items" section of the statistics menu.
Locate the hanging sign in the menu.
Under the "Times Mined" section, the statistic will remain unchanged.
