Shulker dupes items. and drops all items within the shulker on the ground

During playing on the latest snapshot i noticed if you have a shulker you can dupe items with it, as when using a shulker and breaking it, it drops all items within and the shulker itself with the items still inside (this happens in both survival and creative)

Expected outcome: the shulker drops with items inside as normal

Actual outcome: the shulker drops with items inside and all items on the floor, duplicating the items
